Kodiak Venture Youth Leadership Trek

The new Kodiak Venture Youth Leader Training Trek is here for summer of 2008! Kodiak is the Venturing youth leadership course offered in an exciting and challenging atmosphere using high-adventure resources.

This course will offer backpacking, white water rafting, mountain biking, COPE course, and perhaps horseback riding.

Kodiak teaches leadership skills in a fun way that is internalized by the Venturers who take the course. In other words, it is a challenging high-adventure trek with a simple and fun leadership course included. Kodiak is not taught indoors on in a classroom; it is done completely outdoors using nature’s examples of leadership.
