Who: Venturing crews and individuals can take part in this challenging ten event course.
What: The X-treme Adventure Challenge is set up as a competition between crews and individuals willing to test their knowledge and skill. The course is comprised of ten main events in the form of a decathlon. Is your crew up to the challenge?
When: September 5-6, 2008.
Where: Tooele County above the Grantsville Reservior
The Event:
Friday: - Campfire
- Cracker Barrel
- Competions/Night Games
Saturday: - Breakfast
- The Challenge: The following is a relay of events over 12-20 miles
- Swimming 200 Meters
- 1 mile run
- Archery shoot
- Orienteering Challenge
- Rifle shoot
- First Aid Challenge
- Rock climbing/repelling
- Mountain bike trail
- Fire making
- Canoeing
Why: This is to give the Ventures a great challenging experience in a council wide activity.
Registration: Cost is $16 per person if you register online or $20 if you register after Sept. 1. This covers food, equipment, insurance and event patch.
