What is Roundtable?

Roundtable is a forum where you can learn about the Scouting program. Sessions are available for each Scouting leadership position. Learn, share ideas, meet fellow Scouters.

When and Where?

Roundtable is held on the second Thursday of each month, at the Welby Ward house at 8385 South 4800 West Map

Why Attend Roundtable?

At Roundtable you will meet other Scout leaders, learn how to be an effective leader, receive program help. Most of all, have fun.

Wear your uniform to show your Scout spirit!

Roundtable

The following meetings are all held at the Welby Church building (8385 South 4800 West).

Meeting Day Time Who Should Attend Purpose
Roundtable 2nd Thursday 7:00-8:00pm All Unit leaders, unit commissioners, and others who desire training in a particular scouting family Provide 'to do' and 'will to do' skills. 'To do' skills include teaching skills, techniques, information, and program ideas to run a successful unit. 'Will to do' skills include providing unit leaders with the desire to maintain a high level of enthusiasm, inspiration, and vision.
COR Roundtable 1st Thursday 7:00-8:00pm All CORs Provide 'to do' and 'will to do' skills. 'To do' skills include teaching skills, techniques, information, and program ideas to run a successful unit. 'Will to do' skills include providing unit leaders with the desire to maintain a high level of enthusiasm, inspiration, and vision.
