Training every Scout Leader should have:

Youth Protection Training (YPT) – REQUIRED every two years

            Note: Venture YPT covers all scouting families.

Safe Swim Defense – every two years

Physical Wellness – every two years   

Safety Afloat – every two years 

Climb on Safely – every two years 

Trek Safely – every two years

Hazardous Weather – every two years

Trainer’s EDGE – every three years

This is Scouting – one time

Staffing the District Committee – one time (Key-3 and District Staff)

Fast Start – one time

Leader Specific Training – one time per Scouting position  

Wood Badge – one time
