  • 2015 Calendar Posted
    The 2015 Calendar has been posted. These events will be added to the council calendar as time allows.
  • Astronomy Merit Badge Workshops
    Complete your merit badge in 3 hours at the Clark Planetarium! Monthly classes offered.
  • Catch the Vision - University of Scouting 2015
    There is something for everyone! Early registration ends December 15th.
  • College of Commissioner Science
    Specific Training for unit commissioners, district commissioners, assistant district commissioners, roundtable commissioners & staff. For those who are associated with the LDS Church, this includes stake young men's presidencies, stake primary presidencies, and stake high counselors over scouting. All religious leaders of all faiths are invited to attend.
  • Cub Country Day Camp Preview
    Come "Meet the Camp Directors" and discover the exciting new programs at Cub Country 2015.
  • Eleven Year-old Winter Fun-O-Ree
    New for 2015: A Snow Blind obstacle course, limiting participants per session to ensure Scouts can participate in all the activities.
  • Genealogy Merit Badge Workshops
    The Family History Library and the Riverton FamilySearch Library offer monthly workshops to help Boy Scouts earn the Genealogy merit badge. The workshop is held on the second or third Saturday of every month, depending on location.
  • Spring Camporee at Hinckley Scout Ranch
    Plan now to attend the Service Camporee at Hinckley Scout Ranch on May 29-30! This will take the place of our regular district spring camporee. All participants will receive a special edition Hinckley Scout Ranch Service Camporee patch, and are welcome to take home all the firewood they can carry!
  • The Trainer's Edge
    Upcoming classes on January 17, March 7, or May 9, 2015, from 7:30 am-3:00 pm. The council recommends the class be taken every four years. Grab the handout at round table for more info.
  • Varsity Scout Biathlon
    This year's event is a snowshoe race, with two scheduled stops to shoot black powder rifles. Overnight camping is available but not necessary to participate.

Leader Specific Roundtable

2nd Thursday of each month - 7 PM until 8 PM
Handouts are available at the entrance.  After  a brief opening in the Chapel you will go directly to your section (Cub Scouts, Scouts, VS, Venturing, COR's, Committee members, Commissioners, etc.)     

 at 5720 S 4270 W - Access to this street is from 5415 South or Misty Way off 6200 South.
