As of May 10, 2012, the new tour and activity plan is in effect. Please note, that the council no longer approves the tour and activity plan, rather when you submit your tour and activity plan, we will give you a plan number and explain anything you are missing to inform you of the Scout policy and what you will need to do to comply with it. Approval for the tour or activity should come from your sponsor. Also, please discard any past tour plan or tour permit forms you may still have. You may file a tour and activity plan through the following methods:
- PREFERRED METHOD: Online through your MyScouting.org account. You will need to create an account if you do not already have one and link your Scouting member ID number to the account.
- By email at firstname.lastname@example.org. If sending by e-mail, please put your unit number and the date of your departure in the subject line. Please send in at least 24 hours in advance of the time you need your tour plan, this will allow us the time to look it over and a response through the e-mail.
- In-person at the Council Service Center, North Valley Scout Shop or South Valley Scout Shop
- By fax at (801) 582-7401 (You will still need to call (801) 582-3663 for your plan number).
