2014 University of Scouting
           
Event Date:  Saturday, January 11, 2014 
           Time:  8:30am to 3:00pm

    Location:  Salt Lake University Institute 
                       on the University of Utah campus.

                       ( just north of the Great Salt Lake Council Service Center.)

For Whom? All adult Scouters serving Boy Scout, Varsity Scout, or Venturing
                       programs at the unit, district or council level and Religious leaders. 
                       Also
Venturing Crew Presidents. 
                      Cub Leaders are welcome - however, no 
curriculum is designed
                               with Cub Program in mind.
        Why?  Trained Leaders are More Successful, Safer, and Have more Fun!

 What:  There is something for Everyone!
              Leader Specific Training, Boy Scout Vision Tracks,
              Boy Scout Skills Tracks, Boy Scout Camping Tracks, Varsity Vision Tracks,
              Varsity Skills Tracks, Varsity Activities Tracks, COR and Institutional Head Tracks,
              Great Committees/Great Units Track, District Leadership Tracks,
              General Elective Classes, Masters Program, Doctorate Program,
              Curso Administrativo, Curso Lideres De Unidad, Venturing Visions Summit.

 COST:  $15.00  per person by December 31, 2013. This includes lunch.
               $20.00 per person after December 31, 2013. This includes lunch.
                      Lunch  selections are part of registration with options: 
                                                  Your choice of Cafe-Rio:
        Southwest Chicken Wrap or Veggie Wrap-with creamy tomatillo dressing
                                   chips and salsa, fresh fruit, and a drink.

 7:30am   Optional 7:30 course available to masters and Doctoral candidates
 8:30am   Opening Program.
 9:00am   1st Class Block
10:00am  2nd Class Block
11:00am  3rd Class Block
      Noon   Lunch 
 1:00pm   4th Class Block
 2:00pm   5th Class Block
 3:00pm   Patch Distribution

Instructions:
Select as many as five classes from the available times,
           plus a lunch meal choice selection.
            Your choice of Cafe-Rio:

(there is no additional lunch fee for registered attendees).

NOTE:
Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster Leader Specific Training begins at 9:00
          (5hrs with a lunch break)

Varsity Coach Leader Specific Training begins at 11:00
          (3hrs with a lunch break)


Venturing Courses are a continuum and Venturing Leaders should sign up
        for all the Venturing class blocks.

If you register for one of the two leader specific training courses be sure to register for BOTH sessions, PART 1 & PART 2, to complete the entire training.
