This is a great 25 or 50 mile bike ride up cool and beautiful Chalk Creek canyon
in the fall.
Level of difficulty: rolling hills, ~1,200 vertical climb over 25 miles; only about 1/4 mile is
unpaved...very smooth ride
Bike riders will have two choices: 1. A turn-around at the 12.5 mile marker and return (25 miles); or 2. Continue up Chalk Creek Road to the Wyoming border and return (50 miles).
Multi geared bikes (road bikes or mountain bikes) make this a much easier ride.

Cycling merit badge and an additional camp night for your Camping merit badge.

We will provide: dessert Friday night, minor bike repairs and tune-ups at camp, snacks and drinks at aid stations along the way, Emergency health (EMT's or MD's) personnel, a WYNOT III patch for every rider
