COMPLETE A MINIMUM OF 2O REQUIREMENTS
MUST ACHIEVE 20 OF 25 TO QUALIFY AS A QUALITY LEADER.
(Ten starred (*) items are required, plus ten additional items = 20 total.)

  1. Cubs Quality Leader PatchBe currently registered with the Boy Scouts of America.*
  2. Complete both parts of "Basic Training."*
    1. New Leader Essentials Training.
    2. Cub Scout Leader Specific Training for your current position.
  3. Wear a full uniform and show Scout Spirit.*
  4. Complete “Youth Protection Training.”*
  5. Provide a Scouting program on a 12 month basis.*
  6. Attend eight monthly Roundtables.*
  7. Attend eight monthly Pack Committee Meetings.*
  8. Attend eight Pack Meetings.*
  9. Earn the Quality Unit Award.*
  10. Meet with your Unit or District Commissioner.*
  11. Participate in four Unit Leadership Enhancement Training discussions.
  12. Attend Cub Scout Leader "Pow Wow" Tr a i n i n g .
  13. Attend BALOO-Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation.
  14. Attend Webelos Leader Outdoor Training.
  15. Attend Wood Badge Training.
  16. Participate with the Cub Scouts in a service project.
  17. Attend "Den Chief Training" with your Den Chief.
  18. Earn the National Den Award.
  19. Earn the Summertime Pack Award.
  20. Earn the B.S.A. Family Award.
  21. Participate with the boys in a Council sponsored trail patch activity.
  22. Attend a Council Day Camp.
  23. Participate at Scout-O-Rama.
  24. Participate in a Boys' Life promotion.
  25. Participate in a Re-Charter of your unit.
