Cub Scout Leader Fast Start Training - Online National BSA
Are you a new leader? Hit the road running. "Fast Start Training" is designed to give you the immediate information you need to get you started with your first several meetings. The National office of the Boy Scouts of America has an online Cub Scout Leader Fast Start Training. (Click here to connect to the Fast Start training and get started off on the right foot). You will need a version 4 or higher browser. Make sure that JavaScript is turned on in your browser. Presently, this training will not work in Netscape 6.

- Basic Training: Basic training is designed to help the new Cub Scout leader learn and understand the basics of Cub Scouting and run effective meetings.
- Trainer Development Conference: The "Trainer Development Conference" is a chance for everyone who is responsible for training other leaders to be trained.
- Pow Wow: An all day training event that will boost your excitement for Cub Scouting and give you "tons" of ideas and suggestions that will make your position easier.
- Training Teams/Roundtable Staff Workshop: This is a training that is beneficial for all staff members of district and Council training teams and district and Council roundtable staffs, both new and old.
- Den Chief Training: This is a training for Den Chiefs, Cubmasters and other den leaders interested in understanding the role of a Den Chief.
- BALOO Training: Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation.
A new training for Cub Scout Leaders with a desire to Plan and Carryout on Outdoor Experience for the Pack. - Webelos Outdoor Training: Designed specifically for Webelos leaders, teaching them outdoor skills.

This is a Den Based Training that informs youth in using the Stop Card
and the Buddy System. (This meets some of the advancement
requirements for Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelo Ranks - Also Meets
the Outdoor Activity Award Requirements.)
