Kennecottthis is the placeUtah State Fair PatchThe following patches provide opportunities for a Tiger Cub, Cub Scout or Webelos Scout boy to have several fun, learning experiences as he discovers the Great Salt Lake Council. Please note that the varied selections are offered to meet the wide range of needs and interests of many Cub Scouts, and it is not necessary for a boy to earn all the patches.

HistoricalgristmillA boy and or leader may earn any of these patches by participating with either a family member or with a Den or Pack. Many requirements of the patches meet achievements and electives in the Cub Scout books, and should be signed accordingly. Also, some patches have similar requirements so that one activity could meet the requirements for more than one patch; however, service projects are an important part of Cub Scouting. Please don't limit your opportunities for giving service.

Most patches are available for purchase at all of the Council stores.
There are some patches that must be purchased at the tour site.

Please notice that there are some new patches as well as some that have been updated and have new requirements.

Please remember that while on any field trips with your den or pack, both boys and leaders, are encouraged to wear uniforms. Boys should be reminded that they are representing the Boy Scouts of America.
