A Public Service Partnership

It is no secret that Amateur Radio and Scouting organizations have had close ties for years. They both want to teach young people about radio. In continuation of this complimentary effort, the very same radio telemetry equipment can be used for tracking scouts and saving lives. The Great Salt Lake Council, in an effort to ensure the safety of the youth that are going up to the various council camps, have some Telemetry Transmitters to be used in conjunction with the Amateur Radio Stations. These Transmitters must be checked out from the Foothill Council Office.
