Klondike Derby 2008

Location: Jordanelle State Park

When: Jan. 25 – 26, 2008

Times: Friday 3:00 – Sat. 1:00

Cost: $7 per person on or before Fri. Jan. 18

         $9 per person beginning Sat. Jan. 19

Events: 7 Stations (earn points at each station for prizes)

             1. Fire Building – Log Sawing, One Match

             2. Knot Tying – Sled Pull – Using 7 Knots

             3. First Aid – Care for a winter mishap

             4. Compass – 10 Accurate Readings

             5. White Out Mushing – Blindfolded Sled Pull     

             6. Sled Lift – Cliff Accident

             7. Sled Race – One Rider, the Rest are Sled Dogs.

Build your own Sled – It will be used at each station.
