If you have not yet been through the "Leader Specific" training for the position you currently hold, please plan on attending this event. Remember... "New Leader Essentials" is taught Sep - May, during round table. For current training information, please click HERE.
May 2 - 3, 2008 (For Scoutmasters)
Both Leader Specific Training and Outdoor Leadership Skills will be taught to Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters at the Benson Gristmill. Varsity Coaches are also welcome. Info HERE.
District Scouting For Food 08:
The Scouting for Food Drive in Tooele Valley was a resounding success for 2008. Every Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Varsity Scout or Venturer and their leaders can take pride in the fact that over 36,000 items were taken to the Tooele Food Bank as a result of their efforts. A special thanks to Mike Perry, our District's Special Events Chairman who heads up the logistics of this effort for the District.
