2008 Tri-Council Varsity Challenge

The three Scout Councils in the State of Utah, Great Salt Lake, Trapper Trails and the Utah National Parks, invite all Varsity Scouts to attend the Tri-Council Varsity Challenge to be held Friday, September 12 & Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the South Jordan Equestrian Park. This event will provide Varsity Scouts a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience Varsity Scouting in the largest gathering of the ‘Orange’. A Varsity Team can expect to be immersed in the operation of the program using the 5 Fields of Emphasis. High Adventure, Service, Special Programs and Events, Advancement and Personal Growth will all be displayed with activities, games and exciting fun for all interests. Patches and pins will be given to each Scout by both trading and participating in the activities. Teams can continue earning pins through out the year by planning and completing their own activities. Service is the center piece of the event with a special emphasis on achieving “One Million Hours of Service” in 2008. Come and join the fun – this is the first ever Tri-Council Varsity Challenge.
