District Boy Scout Vice Chairman
- Reports directly to District Chairman
- Responsible for the Boy Scout Program within the District boundary
- Recruitment of adequate staff to manage the following areas: (including but not limited to)
- Advancement
- Training
- Camping and Activities
- Roundtable
- Order of the Arrow
- New Scout Patrol
- Technology (if required)
- Support and promote council activities
- Assists and strengthens Boy Scout troops with the district
- Leads in setting, measuring, and achieving the objectives of the Boy Scout program.
- Becomes trained in Boy Scout program and is encouraged to participate in the advanced adult leader training (Woodbadge)
- Works closely with the Order of the Arrow (O.A.) Chapter Advisor to ensure the availability and proper use of the O.A. to every unit in the district as well as providing adequate service opportunities at district sponsored events.
- Set the example by wearing the proper uniform.
- Registers with the District
- Works to achieve the Quality District Award
