District Boy Scout Training Committee Member

  1. Reports directly to District Boy Scout Vice Chairman
  2. Recruitment of adequate training staff to meet the needs of the unit leaders training.
  3. Works closely with the other committee members in developing training plans to meet the needs of unit leaders
  4. Becomes trained in Boy Scout program and has participated in the advanced adult leader training (Woodbadge)
  5. Promotes Council training related activities
  6. Support and promote district and council activities
  7. Set the example by wearing the proper uniform.
  8. Registers with the District
  9. Helps to achieve the Quality District Award
  10. Meetings to attend:
    1. District
      1. Boy Scout Committee - monthly
      2. Roundtable - monthly
      3. Training committee meeting - monthly
      4. Recognition Banquet - yearly
    2. Council
      1. Coordinated Council Meeting - monthly
