District Boy Scout Roundtable Committee Member

  1. Reports directly to District Boy Scout Vice Chairman
  2. Responsible for coordinating the Boy Scout Roundtable effort.
    1. Make all physical arrangements for roundtables, including equipment, supplies and visual aids
    2. Conducts regular roundtable critiques to determine how to improve roundtables
  3. Develops ideas to promote unit leader attendance at Roundtable.
  4. Recruitment of adequate Roundtable staff to meet the needs of the unit leaders.
  5. Works closely with other committee members in developing Roundtable plans to meet the needs of unit leaders
  6. Becomes trained in Boy Scout program and is encouraged to participate in the advanced adult leader training (Woodbadge)
  7. Support and promote district and council activities
  8. Set the example by wearing the proper uniform.
  9. Registers with the District
  10. Helps to achieve the Quality District Award
  11. Meetings to attend:
    1. District
      1. Boy Scout Committee - monthly
      2. Roundtable - monthly
      3. Roundtable committee meeting - monthly
      4. Recognition Banquet - yearly
    2. Council
      1. Coordinated Council Meeting - monthly
