District Boy Scout ÂNew Scout Patrol Committee Member
- Reports directly to District Boy Scout Vice Chairman
- Provides guidance to the "New Scout" leaders within the district.
- Works closely with Roundtable and Training Chairman in developing training plans to meet the needs of "New Scout" leaders within the district.
- Serve as a resource to the District Roundtable, Training and Camping & Activities committees
- Becomes trained in Boy Scout program and is encouraged to participate in the advanced adult leader training (Woodbadge)
- Promotes district camping and activities that could involve "New Scout" patrols.
- Support and promote district and council activities
- Set the example by wearing the proper uniform.
- Registers with the District
- Helps to achieve the Quality District Award
- Meetings to attend:
- District
- Boy Scout Committee - monthly
- Roundtable - monthly
- Roundtable committee meeting - as required
- Training committee meeting - as required
- Camping & Activities committee meeting - as required
- Recognition Banquet - yearly
- Council
- Coordinated Council Meeting - monthly
