Roundtable (and other district meetings)

The following meetings are all held at the Welby Church building (8385 South 4800 West).

Meeting Day Time Who Should Attend Purpose
Roundtable 2nd Thursday 7:00-8:00pm All Unit leaders, unit commissioners, and others who desire training in a particular scouting family Provide 'to do' and 'will to do' skills. 'To do' skills include teaching skills, techniques, information, and program ideas to run a successful unit. 'Will to do' skills include providing unit leaders with the desire to maintain a high level of enthusiasm, inspiration, and vision.
COR Roundtable 1st Thursday 7:00-8:00pm All CORs Provide 'to do' and 'will to do' skills. 'To do' skills include teaching skills, techniques, information, and program ideas to run a successful unit. 'Will to do' skills include providing unit leaders with the desire to maintain a high level of enthusiasm, inspiration, and vision.
LDS Relationship Meeting 1st Thursday of Jan, Mar, May, Aug, Sept, and Nov 8:30-9:30pm LDS Relationship Committee Member assignee if he is unable to attend Help maintain and strengthen working relationships between each Zone/Stake and the District, coordinate activities, training, and staffing needs of the District
Zone Meeting 1st Thursday 8:00-8:30pm Zone Assistant District Commissioner, LDS Relationship Committee Member, Charter Organization Representatives, Unit Commissioners Coordinate scouting events, discuss and report on unit service, and evaluate unit needs
District Committee Meeting 2nd Thursday 8:15-9:00pm District Chairman, Assistant District Chairman, District Commissioner, Assistant District Commissioner, District Executive, Chairmen, Commissioners and other District Staff as needed To plan district activities and events. Ensure that council activities, events, and goals are being supported. Make assignments and following up on assignments previously given.
District Commissioner Staff Meeting 1st Thursday 7:00-8:00pm Assistant District Commissioners and Unit Commissioner. This would include Stake High Councilman assigned as unit commissioners, Stake YM Presidency, Stake Primary Presidency, etc. Build enthusiasm, provide training, and review unit needs
District Key 5 (formerly the Key 3) 2nd Thursday 9:00-10:00pm District Chairman and Assistant District Chairman, District Commissioner and Assistant District Commissioner, District Executive Plan, strategize and share needs and concerns of the district
