The Deseret Peak District is one of 19 Districts in the Great Salt Lake Council. The Deseret Peak District covers all 6,900 sq miles of Tooele County, Utah and serves the needs of over 3,500 youth in approx 310 units. |

Things you can do at the Tooele Scout Shop:
* Register Boys and Adults
* Turn in advancement sheets and purchase award badges
* Purchase a wide variety of Scouting literature
* Purchase some uniform parts
* Order anything for pick up later.

SPECIAL NEEDS UNIT |
|
Click HERE to find information on Troop 1109 (the special needs unit chartered in Tooele County). Boys, parents and Ecclesiastical leaders can decide if the boy's needs are best met in the home unit, the special needs unit or a combination of both. There is no upper age limit for participants.

DISTRICT TRAINING EVENTS: |

Leader Specific Training -- September 26th, 2013 -- Tooele Utah SOUTH Stake, 1025 Southwest Dr, Tooele. For all Adult Leaders with any kind of job in scouting. If you have not yet been through the "Leader Specific" training for the position you currently hold, please plan on attending this event. Information HERE.
Cub Leader WEBELOS Outdoor Leader Training -- October 12th, 2013 -- Tooele Wigwam. Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation for Webelos Scout leaders is a one-day training event that introduces participants to the skills needed to plan and conduct Pack outdoor activities, particularly pack camping. This training is required for anyone planning Pack outdoor activities. Come to Round Table for information.
Youth Protection Training -- Remember... "Youth Protection Training" is a requirement BEFORE an adult can register in any position. It is taught Nov - Jan (Re-chartering time), during Round Table. Youth Protection Training is also available online at http://www.scouting.org
