It's time to plan for the 2013 National Jamboree! It is time to plan for the 2013 Boy Scout National Jamboree. Although it is still two years away, it is time to start preparing for it now. We know that we will have a fun-filled, educational experience; that we will leave in mid-July, 2013 and get back in the early part of August, 2013; and now is the time to make sure we are all assigned to a Troop. Okay, why the big push to register when the Jamboree is almost two years away? It is the only way to be sure that you will be with your friends and Scouts from your own home Troop. Each Troop will consist of 40 people, (4 adult leaders and 36 Scouts). Scouts who register after a Troop is full will be assigned to another Troop from the Great Salt Lake Council. Although the Jamboree will be fun regardless of what Troop you travel with, it will be even more fun if you are traveling with Scouts from your own home Troop and District. Also, if gives you enough time to raise the funds needed to attend the Jamboree. FOR MORE INFORMATION SEE THE LINKS BELOW: Are you a Scout interested in attending the National Jamboree?
